It's been hard to balance things lately...kids, school, kids, sports, kids, holidays, kids, husbands, kids, photography, kids, therapy, kids, a little "me" time (what's that?!?), kids...
And, then there's this darn flu (we're just not even going to go there...).
We love doing this blog together. We love capturing memories with photography together. Over the past few months, we've yearned for more time to devote to these two things...but, other important, worthy things (mostly kids) have limited our time, making it a challenge to find any kind of balance where we can return to our passion of Sycamore Sisters.
But, we are working on it! We've given up on thinking, "things will slow down soon." It's not gonna happen. We've reminded ourselves that we are BLESSED to have lives where it is difficult to find balance. It means we have family and friends and jobs and activities that are meaningful and purposeful. It means that we have to think about our priorities and allow ourselves to try to savor the phases of life we are currently in...that even though we often wish for the next phase (thinking it will be "easier"), there are so many incredible things about where we are right now that we don't want to miss.
So...be patient with us. We have lots of ideas floating around and much more we want to share. We have more photographs to share...and more memories we want to capture.
We are working on balancing our return...♥♥
