When we started the Sycamore Sisters blog, a few things were really important to both of us.
First of all, our FAITH. It is very important to both of us, and we wanted to share our faith with our readers. We think that God’s Word is very powerful, and to have His words be a special part of our blog was a huge priority for us.
Another priority for us was FAMILY. We think family is just about the best gift our God has given us. We are both blessed with close families, and with that comes some great stories we love to share with you! Our families mean everything to us!
Our third topic of importance was our FRIENDS. Wow, we have some great friends...like the kind that love you even after they know everything about you! We think that friendship is so essential to help each other get through those crazy days!
So...what’s the big announcement? Our...PHOTOGRAPHY!! We have decided to follow our hearts and to start our own photography business. It is pretty amazing how our faith, family and friends have been a part of this decision. Let us explain...
Sycamore Sisters Photography feels like the newest member of our Family. Not unlike a new baby, we have prepared our hearts and homes for this arrival. We had to come up with a name...
We have had some late nights....
Our families have been wonderful and amazing during this time. They have helped us by praying over our new adventure, watching kids, being our cheerleaders, and helping with that occasional load of laundry that we can’t get to! A special shout out to our husbands who, without them, none of this would be possible! We are all experiencing that sheer excitement of the birth of this new adventure!
Our Friends have been such a special part of this journey as well. They have encouraged us, been our prayer partners in this, and have even posed for a few pictures!
Our Faith has been such a critical part of this decision as well. We both felt the nudging of the Holy Spirit to go along this journey together. How amazing that we are able to capture so many of God’s creations in the form of a picture! God created such wonderful families. It is our honor to capture them in keepsakes you can have forever.
One area that we both feel very passionate about is capturing memories for families of children with special needs. This is a topic that is near and dear to both of our hearts. God made such special people, it is especially important to us to make sure we capture all of our clients’ unique personalities and abilities in the form of a forever memory.
We are thrilled to get the opportunity to honor our faith, family, and friends through photography.
